Creamy, Dreamy, and Ultra-Refreshing Limeade (Print Version)

A frothy creamy limeade made with fresh lime, coconut milk, condensed milk, mint, and ice.

# Ingredients:

For the creamy limeade

01 - 1 cup (240 ml) fresh lime juice, from about 7-8 medium limes
02 - 1 can (13.5 oz or 400 ml) full-fat coconut milk, chilled and shaken well
03 - 1/2 cup (150 g) sweetened condensed milk
04 - 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) cold water
05 - 2 1/2 cups ice, plus more for serving
06 - 8 fresh mint leaves
07 - Pinch of fine salt

For serving

08 - Lime wheels
09 - Fresh mint sprigs
10 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse the limes under running water and dry them. Juice enough limes to make 1 cup, then strain out any seeds.
02 - Pour the lime juice, coconut milk, condensed milk, cold water, ice, mint leaves, and salt into a blender. Add liquids first so the blades catch easily.
03 - Blend for 20-30 seconds, until the drink is pale, creamy, and lightly foamy. Do not keep blending once it is smooth or the ice will thin out the drink.
04 - Taste right away. Add 1-2 tablespoons condensed milk if it is too tart, a squeeze of lime if it is too sweet, or a splash of cold water if it is too thick.
05 - Fill glasses with fresh ice and pour the creamy limeade over the top. Garnish with lime, mint, and coconut if using. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Serve immediately for the best frothy texture.
02 - For a dairy-free version, replace condensed milk with 3 tablespoons sugar or agave.
03 - Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 1 day and re-blended with ice.
