Kiwi Mango Strawberry Salsa (Print Version)

A juicy no-cook fruit salsa with kiwi, mango, strawberries, lime, cilantro, red onion, and jalapeno.

# Ingredients:

For the salsa

01 - 2 ripe but firm mangoes, peeled and diced
02 - 3 medium kiwis, peeled and diced
03 - 1 1/2 cups (225 g) strawberries, hulled and diced
04 - 1/4 cup (35 g) finely diced red onion
05 - 1 small jalapeno, seeded and finely minced
06 - 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
07 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
08 - 1 large lime, zested and juiced
09 - 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, optional
10 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt, plus more to taste

For serving

11 - Tortilla chips, tacos, grilled fish, shrimp, chicken, or rice bowls

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse the mangoes, kiwis, strawberries, lime, jalapeno, and herbs under cool running water. Dry well before cutting.
02 - Peel and dice the mangoes and kiwis. Hull and dice the strawberries. Aim for small, even 1/4-inch pieces so the salsa scoops easily.
03 - Add the red onion, lime zest, and lime juice to a medium bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes while you mince the jalapeno and herbs.
04 - Add the mango, kiwi, strawberries, jalapeno, cilantro, mint, honey, and salt. Fold gently with a spatula until combined without crushing the fruit.
05 - Cover and chill for 15-20 minutes. Taste and add a pinch more salt, lime juice, or honey if needed.
06 - Serve cold with tortilla chips or spoon over tacos, grilled fish, shrimp, chicken, or rice bowls. Use a slotted spoon if the salsa is very juicy.

# Notes:

01 - Best served the day it is made.
02 - Makes about 4 cups of salsa.
03 - Use firm ripe fruit for the cleanest dice and best texture.
