Juicy frozen dumplings tossed in a glossy sweet, savory, garlicky chili sauce for a fast 15-minute meal.

# Ingredients:

For the dumplings

01 - 20 frozen dumplings, pork, chicken, shrimp, or vegetable
02 - Water, for boiling

For the chili garlic sauce

03 - 1/4 cup (60 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
04 - 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
05 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
06 - 1 tablespoon chili garlic oil or chili crisp, plus more to taste
07 - 2 garlic cloves, finely minced or grated
08 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
09 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds, plus more for serving
10 - 2 tablespoons sliced green onions, plus more for serving
11 - 1-2 tablespoons hot dumpling cooking water, optional

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium serving bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, chili garlic oil, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and green onions until the honey dissolves.
02 - Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil. Add the frozen dumplings and cook according to the package directions, usually 5-8 minutes, until hot and floating.
03 - Lift the dumplings from the water with a slotted spoon or spider strainer. Let excess water drip off for a few seconds.
04 - Add the hot dumplings to the sauce and fold gently until coated. Add 1-2 tablespoons hot cooking water if you want a looser sauce.
05 - Top with extra sesame seeds, green onions, and more chili crisp if desired. Serve immediately while the dumplings are hot and glossy.

# Notes:

01 - Best served right after tossing while the wrappers are tender.
02 - Use low-sodium soy sauce if your dumplings are already salty.
03 - Sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead and refrigerated.
